UNDERSTANDING ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD)

NEW INFORMATION SHEET

Do you find your child restless, impulsive or inattentive? Do you know that the first symptoms of ADHD often appear during the preschool years? Although you are indisputably the expert when it comes to your child, specialists can work with you to help you evaluate if the problem might come from ADHD or lie elsewhere. If ADHD is diagnosed, your child’s concentration, impulse control and calmness can be improved with a combination of proper support, behaviour therapy and medication, when required.
