Models of Early Childhood Services

International Conference


June 5-6, 2012, Montreal

Join us for this conference on the various challenges faced while implementing best early childhood practices in the world. How should services be organized? How can best practices be provided on a large scale? How can these programs be funded?

International experts and policy makers, such as Michelle Bachelet (Chile), Païvi Santalahti (Finland), Richie Poulton (New Zealand), Osmar Terra (Brazil), Jacqueline Barnes (UK), John Bennett (Ireland), Jim Breslin (Ireland), Conor Owens (Ireland), Susan H. Landry (USA), Rob Santos and Steven Feldgaier (Canada), to name a few, will share their respective experiences. Foundations devoted to early childhood development (ex: McCain (Canada), Bernard van Leer (Netherlands), WAVE Trust (UK) are also among the confirmed speakers.

Organized by the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (CEECD), the Strategic Knowledge Cluster on Early Child Development (SKC-ECD) and the Marie Curie International Network on Early Childhood Health Development, this conference will offer policy makers and service planners from all over the world a place to learn and share their views and experiences in terms of ECD service delivery.

This event will be held on June 5 and 6, 2012 at the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal, in Montreal, Quebec.
