Models of Early Childhood Services
International Conference
June 5-6, 2012, Montreal
Join us for this conference on the various challenges faced while implementing best ECD practices in the world. How should services be organized? How can best practices be provided on a large scale? How can these programs be funded?
International experts and policy makers, such as Tytti Solantaus (Finland), Richie Poulton (New Zealand), Osmar Terra (Brazil), Jacqueline Barnes (Great Britain), John Bennett (OECD), Conor Owens (Ireland), Rob Santos and Steven Feldgaier (Canada), to name a few, will share their respective experiences. Foundations devoted to early childhood development (ex: McCain (Canada), Bernard van Leer (Netherlands), WAVE Trust (UK) are also among the confirmed speakers.
Organized by the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development (CEECD), the Strategic Knowledge Cluster on Early Child Development (SKC-ECD) and the Marie Curie International Network on Early Childhood Health Development, this conference will offer policy makers and service planners from all over the world a place to learn and share their views and experiences in terms of ECD service delivery.
This event will be held on June 5 and 6, 2012 at the Hotel Omni, in Montreal, Quebec.
The program will soon be available. Visit this site regularly to register to the conference.
We are grateful to The Lawson Foundation and to the Margaret & Wallace McCain Family Foundation for their financial contributions.
